Nothing marks the start of Fall like going “Back to School.”  Whether its Preschool, or College, or somewhere in between, this significant life moment is one of my personal favorites to capture on film year after year.  Yours too, I bet.  More than the poses with the backpacks, you know I’m all about the emotion and relationship photos that we capture going back to school.

So this year, Shea Photography is Sharing The Love by awarding TWO FREE Fall Collection I {$700 value} to the winners of our BACK TO SCHOOL photo contest.  Submit your Personal Candid Photos that tell your Back To School Story Image to our Photo Contest. We will have a “Photographer’s Choice” winner and a “People’s Choice” winner determined by votes by our fans on Facebook!

{This cutie is Cameron Carter on his first day of Preschool.  Cameron is the adorable son of our resident Stylist/Artist/Painter at The Studio Loft, Angie Carter.  I just love the tentative expression on his little face.}

Starting Today (Friday 8/13/10 through Friday 8/27/10) Submit your photos either:

1.  online at the Shea Photography Facebook Page under the CONTESTS Tab

2. email them to jane@sheaphotography.com, subject “Back to School Contest”

3. VOTE!  Voting will begin on Tuesday August 17th and run through till Friday August 27th.  All photos entered either through Facebook or by email submission will be considered for Photographer’s Choice award.  To be in the running for the People’s Choice award, ya gotta VOTE!  Visit Shea Photography on facebook, tell all of your family and friends to do so too, and VOTE!  Its easy and a fun way to share your special moments with those that care for you and your family!

Contest will run through Friday August 27th, midnight.  Up to 3 entries per person.  All photos will be reviewed for selection by Shea Photography’s Photographer’s Choice Winner and All photos will be uploaded to Facebook for Public Voting for People’s Choice Winner.  People can vote for each submission once per contest.  Each winner will receive Fall Collection I for Free which include a Full Photo Session at an exclusive venue of their choice, 1 11×14 image, and 5 digital files of images of their choice, plus 25% off their holiday card order.  Prizes awarded as part of this contest and promotion carry no cash value and may not be exchanged or refunded for cash or Studio Credit. They must be used as specified. All sessions will take place in the Greater Kansas City area and must be scheduled in 2010.  Shea Photography reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion at any time if necessary.
